The Freedom of Information (FOI) Law, 2007 came into effect 05 January 2009 and gives the public the right of access to all types of records held by public authorities, with some exceptions. As a public authority, the Water Authority is fully committed to openness, transparency and serving the public interest in compliance with the FOI Law.

The Water Authority will respond to your request as quickly as possible. The Freedom of Information Law requires public authorities to respond within 30 calendar days, allowing an extension of an additional 30 calendar days if needed. We will acknowledge receipt of a FOI request to the address given and will advise whether an extension will be needed to process the request.
