Water Authority – Cayman Sponsors the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre

-The Water Authority Board recently approved a donation of $2500.00, as a Premium Sponsor to support the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre (CICC) Seventh Annual Jingle Bell Walk/Run. The donation will be used towards providing safe, temporary shelter and a supportive environment for abused women and their children. This sponsorship will help the CICC continue to educate the community regarding domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Water Authority Director, Dr. Gelia Frederick-van Genderen commented: “The Water Authority is pleased to support the CICC which offers counselling, education, support and community resources for the women, children and families of the Cayman Islands. We wish the CICC all the best for the new year.”

Mrs. Renee Carroll–Grate, Executive Director Cayman Islands Crisis Centre stated “The Cayman Islands Crisis Centre is pleased to have the Water Authority as a Sponsor for the Annual Jingle Bell Walk Run. Their contribution to the Jingle Bell Walk Run and continuous support is greatly appreciated by the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre Board of Directors, Staff and Clients”.
